The BEST Part of Halloween

Halloween means something different for everyone. For some it is about pumpkin carving and corn mazes... not me. For others it is about scary movies... nope still not me. Then there are the people who are just ready to party... uh no. Lastly, there are the people who just take it as a chance to get dressed up and be goofy... TOTALLY ME!I (Oh, can't forget the people who take advantage of half price candy in November 1st -- Also me)

I have never been one to carve pumpkins, I don't like getting my hands dirty and I can not stand the smell of raw pumpkin. I am also one of the biggest scaredy cat you will ever meet. I watch scary movies and freak out for a week. I am definitely not the person who looks forward to all the scary movies coming out around Halloween. Almost every year I go to a Halloween party. I enjoy myself and I love seeing everyone all dressed up in their costumes but this still is not my absolute favorite part of this holiday.

Confession time... I don't like three quarters of the costumes on the market right now. My absolute FAVORITE part of Halloween in homemade corny/punny costumes. I love puns to begin with but then make a pun into a costume. I love love love it.

Here are five examples of my absolute favorite halloween costumes that make me crack up every time:

1. The cereal killer

Ha! Get it? Cereal killer? Lol.

2. Taco Belle

She's Belle. But she has tacos on her dress. I am in love with this costume!

3.Ceiling Fan

This one took me way too long to figure out but OMG love it!!

4. Couch Potato

Not only is this funny but it is so cute! Just look at that kid.

5. When life gives you lemons

This is my all time favorite. Can you imagine being at a Halloween event having someone come up to you and hand you a lemon? That would be so funny to me. I die every time I see this. Seriously. DEAD!

Everyone has a favorite part of Halloween. This just so happens to be mine.

Bob's Burgers
Adult Swim

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

school

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.
