The Best Feminist Shops to Stock Your 2017

Ring in the new year with a wardrobe that proclaims and supports the resolution of the revolution: be feminist as hell.

1. Gypsy Warrior

Never not stocked with the best of middle finger, in-your-face graphics tees, Gypsy Warrior has an endless stock for the most free-spirited of feminists. Part of the proceeds of these Girl Gang ringer tees goes to Planned Parenthood!

2. Sex + Ice-Cream

Sex + Ice-Cream was, for shop-owner Nicole, a physical manifestation of her chasing seriously a dream for the first time instead of a boy. Those Girl Power (GRL PWR) resonances ring proudly throughout the designer's entire incredibly eclective (and incredibly awesome) shop.

3. Green Box Shop

This young woman screenprints **the best** social justice tees. Plus, they're all fair-trade and organic. Follow the Etsy shop by clicking the photo or above, or check out the store's Instagram feed here.

4. Feminist Apparel

Feminist Apparel has been one of the easiest go-to spots of patriarchy-slamming wearables for years. Plus, there's a feature to 'browse by cause', so you can get the graphic you want, while supporting the organization you want!

5. Bluestockings Boutique

Bluestockings is one of the most intersectional companies you'll find on the market, featuring a big emphasis on underthings for everyone! Plus, their strict code on ethics, sustainability, inclusivity, and numerous charity collaborations make the brand all the more easy to get behind.

6. Prinkshop

1973 declares the year that Roe v. Wade seized its pro-choice victory. 30% of profits from the shirt go to the National Institute for Reproductive Health. And that's just one of the many bold, pro-woman offerings Prinkshop has up for grabs.

7. Lonely Lingerie

Lonely Lingerie's message is all about people wearing lingerie simply to look good for themselves. They place an emphasis on diversity and realism in the body types represented in their campaigns, with a zero-tolerance on retouching.

8. Punky Pins

Sport enameled versions of your equality affirmations with this company's huuuge collection of #girlboss pins.

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

Thanksgiving break is over and Christmas is just around the corner and that means, for most college students, one hellish thing — finals week. It's the one time of year in which the library becomes over populated and mental breakdowns are most frequent. There is no way to avoid it or a cure for the pain that it brings. I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.
