Doug the Pug has taken social media by storm. He has his own Facebook page, Instagram, Twitter, and is even found on Spotify. In just a couple short years, the pug has made his face so well known, he has been interviewed by various media outlets and has many famous friends, including Ed Sheeran, John Legend, and many more. But who is Doug the Pug?

Doug the Pug was born in Ohio before being adopted by his current owner, Leslie Mosier. Doug now lives with Mosier in Nashville, Tennessee. He is currently three years old. His fame came after Mosier began posting photos and videos of Doug online with the intent to make people smile.

Here are some of my favorite Doug the Pug moments.

He is a responsible pug.

"That one friend at the party who doesn't drink but still goes harder than you" -Doug

He goes to all the appropriate events.

“MVP = most valuable pug” -Doug

Doug’s coffee addiction is what really keeps him going.

“I think I’m gonna need a bigger coffee” -Doug

He also has a flare for the dramatic…

"The Winter brings out my inner diva" -Doug

… Probably because he thinks he’s the king.

“King of staying in on weekends” -Doug

He’s a big fan of movies.

“When you wish upon a pug” -Doug

Harry Potter is his favorite.

“Expecto pugtronum” -Doug

He wants to be in a movie someday.

"I think there's a ghost in my house...I wake up every morning with food missing from my fridge" -Doug

Any movie will do.

"The Hungry Games" -Doug

Sometimes, he struggles with his weight.

“Everyone I know is having kids and I’m just here with a food baby” -Doug

But he tries to stay positive.

“Smile even when your clothes don’t fit” -Doug

The weight probably comes from his love of food…

“In the summer I eat my weight in watermelon” -Doug

… Especially pizza.

"I bet u wouldn't have cancelled our plans if I told you it was a pizza party" -Doug

Doug doesn’t think he’s tan enough, either.

“I’m so tired of being pale, hurry up Spring Break” -Doug

But at the end of the day…

"Sometimes u just need to take a bath with your ducky" -Doug

He never worries about a thing.

"Peace, love, and pugs" -Doug

I hope you’ve enjoyed these Doug the Pug selections as much as I have. Doug the Pug makes me smile every day, no matter what kind of mood I am in. He’s a free pug spirit who does what he wants when he wants. I am so incredibly glad I get to keep up with this wonderful pug online. Now that you’re done with this article, maybe go pop over to Doug’s Facebook page or YouTube channel. Everyone could use a little Doug the Pug in their life.

6 Unrealistic Expectations Society Has For Young Adults

Don't let the thesaurus-inspired vocabularies in our résumés fool you. We're actually just big kids.

Well over four feet tall and 100 pounds in weight, many of us "young adults" of the world still consider ourselves children. Big, working, college-attending, beer-drinking children. We may live on our own, know how to cook noodles, and occasionally use a planner, but don't be fooled; the youthful tendencies that reside within us still make their way into our daily lives. From choosing to stay up until 3:00 a.m. playing video games on a school night to going out in 30 degree weather without a coat, we still make decisions that our parents and grandparents would shake their heads at in disappointment. So why are we expected to know exactly how to be a wise, professional, sensible adult? It's not that we're irresponsible (for the most part, anyway). It's that we are young, inexperienced, and still have the sought-after, enthusiastic mentality that we can do and be whatever we want, which has not yet been tarnished by the reality of the world. These are just a few of the unrealistic expectations that society has for young adults.

Fandango

There are a lot of foods in this world, but there is only one dish that stands above the rest: Pizza. If you're close to me or at least know who I am, then you know that I'm totally obsessed with pizza. It's one of my favorite things to eat and I will NEVER turn down a slice, even if it doesn't have my favorite toppings. There isn't a day that goes by where I'm not thinking about pizza. I even sleep with a pizza pillow every night! There are many reasons why pizza stands above all other foods, and here are just a couple reasons why.
