Disney Channel has been well known and well received over the many years it's dominated children's television. It's put out well loved characters, shows, and movies. Recently, over the memorial day weekend this past summer, Disney Channel released their 100th Disney Channel Original Movie (DCOM). In honor of this milestone, I found it pertinent to revisit the best DCOMs that've come out.
1. High School Musical
As probably the most loved and well known DCOM, you just can't leave High School Musical off a list like this.
2. High School Musical 2
High School Musical 2 holds up easily to its predecessor, and nothing beats the Gotta Go My Own Way scene.
3. High School Musical 3: Senior Year
It may not hold up to the previous two, but Senior Year still holds up to other DCOMs. And everyone can relate to Troy's stress levels in this one.
4. Halloweentown
It's October witches! Embrace the true glory of the Halloweentown series.
5. Halloweentown II: Kalabar's Revenge
Another sequel that stands with it's original, Kalabar's Revenge definitely rocks.
6. Halloweentown High
To round out the Halloween season, here's just another one of the Halloweentown movies that is necessary for watching.
7. Starstruck
In my opinion, Starstruck is probably the best DCOM they've come out with so far. The plot is just killer, it's obviously perfect cheesiness of Disney Channel movies, and the music is really pretty good.
8. Kim Possible Movie: So The Drama
This movie is hilarious. Kills it in the humor department, in typical Kim Possible fashion.
9. Phineas and Ferb The Movie: Across The 2nd Dimension
Everything Phineas and Ferb is great, don't fight me.
10. Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie
The Wizards of Waverly Place movie is so great, and with all the family themes and the climax, it kills you just enough with the emotions.
11. Lemonade Mouth
Awesome music, respectable messages, adorable kitten, and fun fact: Blake Michael was only 14 in this, which is just crazy to think about, as he certainly doesn't seem it.
12. Camp Rock
I know, this one was pushing it on the cheesiness and clichés. But it has the Jonas Brothers and some pretty rocking music, and it was really easy to hate Tess.
13. Princess Protection Program
Selena and Demi work great together, and twists on princess movies are almost always likeable.
14. The Suite Life Movie
The Sprouse twins, killing it then and still killing it now.
