Here at Binghamton University, dining halls are an important part of our every day lives. Each residence community has its own dining hall, and we take a lot of pride in which one reigns supreme on campus (even though we know Appalachian takes the crown). Each dining hall has its own best dish, and, while some are better than others, each has at least one thing going for them.
Dragonfire Chicken (App)
Regarded by some as a myth because of its rarity, it is said to have been cooked with the fire of an actual dragon's breath. The chicken itself is made to perfection, the seasoning is magnificent, and the taste is just exquisite. Totally worth that $2.59 off your meal plan.
DIY Sandwich Station (C4)
What is better than having cold cuts, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and many other toppings and dressings at your disposal to create your own sandwich at any hour of the day? Plus your own bread?! I'll answer that; nothing.
Pasta Station (App)
Even though it seemingly always has a line of at least 7 people, this pasta is well worth the wait. You feel like you have the entire culinary world at your fingertips with all of the toppings and sauces that go with your very own choice of pasta. Not to mention the cheese, pepper flakes, and other flavorings you can add after your pasta has been cooked to perfection.
Hinman Pizza (Hinman)
While the Chinese food station might be a little bit better, the fact that it isn't always open, plus the fact that when compared to all other pizza on campus Hinman is by far the best, the pizza corner wins out.
BBQ Corner (CIW)
They always have chicken wings, they always have mac and cheese, and they always have pulled pork. If you're in a really daring mood, try the Honey Sriracha flavored wings. Without water.
