Thanksgiving is officially over and you know what that means?! It’s finally time to break out the Christmas carols and NOT feel like a total jerk. As my friends would tell you, I may be cynical, but I'm not a total scrooge. Even I have an affinity for Christmas time. It's communal, it brings some warmth to an otherwise cold month and I welcome any opportunity to toast and feast. Here are my go-to, sure to put me in the spirit, and make me feel a bit more jolly songs:
Run Rudolph Run - Chuck Berry
All I Want for Christmas Is You - Mariah Carey
White Christmas - Otis Redding
The Christmas Sog - Nat King Cole
Santa Baby - Eartha Kitt
Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas - Sam Smith
Merry Christmas, Baby - Christina Aguilera
A Holly Jolly Christmas - Burl Ives
Santa Claus Is Coming To Town - The Jackson 5
Silent Night - Damien Rice
Frosty the Snowman - Ella Fitzgerald
Hark! The Herald Angles Sing - Mahalia Jackson
Jingle Bells - Diana Krall
Oh Holy Night - The Sweeplings
White Winter Hymnal - Fleet Foxes
