When I'm studying, my room is usually silent. It's too easy for me to be distracted by other things on my desk or outside traffic. So I listen to some music or just some ambient sounds. And that really helps. So I'll share a few songs that I listen to when I study. Maybe they'll help you, too.
1. Tatooine - Dune Sea (Star Wars Background Ambience)
This one makes me happy, especially because I live in Arizona, a desert. I have a nice view of "A Mountain" outside my window, which is worth getting up in the morning to see. The sounds of wind and sandstorms make me feel right at home.
2. Zora's Domain - The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Music Extended
The music from Ocarina of Time is still nostalgic. This music from the underwater level of the game is filled with guitar and steel drums, helping connect the real-world tropics to the exploration of a classic world. At least it's something to listen to when you're waiting for King Zora to scoot to the side for you to progress.
3. Doctor Who ASMR – The Tardis Interior Ambience (Tenth Doctor)
Another ambient sound, this relaxing track imitates an iconic location from David Tennant's years on the British television show. Its repeating drone makes the core engine echo through the room, which is somehow bigger on the inside .
4. Study Session in the Great Hall in Hogwarts Castle | ASMR Harry Potter Ambience
This Harry Potter-inspired soundscape helps me imagine I'm studying at the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Industrial design is sort of like Transfiguration, right?
5. Astral Observatory 10 Hours - Zelda Majora's Mask
The last piece on this list is from The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. It's nice and quiet, but musical and moderately paced. I think this one is my favorite, actually.
Happy studying! Hope this music keeps you focused.
