It cradles your skin, going in and out of every hair that sits upon your arms, goose bumps crawl up and down your limbs, leaving your body with a numbness that nothing else will ever give. The air is so crisp it feels like its clearing your lungs and replacing it with a thin layer of frost, however, it doesn't cause discomfort, just a feeling of pure air.

The sky radiates a surprising, yet powerful light that slowly melts the layer of snow that rests upon you eyelashes, and with every blink, they slowly disappear. From that light, your body begins to heat up, your cheeks form two round and rosy circles, and it creeps to the tip of your nose.

You turn your head and glance at the quiet city ahead of you. Each house covered in mounds of snow, each different, but they blend together in the most subtly perfect way.

As the sun begins to set, it shines through the tiny stalagmite looking icicles that hang around the perimeter of the homes. Everything is so still, it looks like an everlasting picture.

"How could something so small and simple, turn this town into something so beautiful?"You think to yourself, as you stare at the winsome land scattered around your feet.

The beauty of this exotic yet so incredibly simple scene occupies your brain, leaving you with nothing but the beauty of winter in your mind. Why do some people wish this would end?

Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about.
