The Beauty of Minding Your Own Business

Be a happier person.

We all have a nosy bone in our body somewhere. It's alright you can admit it. But there's a fine line between wanting to know things and going out of your way to find out things. There's a fine line between listening to someone speak and listening but then going to tell everyone you know. There's also a fine line between things that just have nothing to do with you.

It's important to find that fine line people.

Let's be real, we're all adults (scary, I know) and we shouldn't be spreading rumors. Nor should we be unable to keep secrets. Yes, I know some people struggle with keeping their mouths shut, and struggle with keeping secrets bottled up. There's a simple solution, and it may sound harsh. But.

MIND YOUR BUSINESS.

You'll avoid ruining a friendship by spreading their business around, and you'll for sure learn to keep things to yourself if you want anyone to tell you anything every again.

Now, not everyone sucks at keeping secrets. Some people are great at it actually. However, some people have the downfall of wanting to put their nose where it doesn't belong, and then sometimes they try to chime their two cents where it isn't wanted. Once again, here I go.

MIND YOUR BUSINESS.

Not everyone is open to opinions. And I can guarantee you, many people don't like being told what to do with their lives. Some people forget the golden rule of treat others the way you want to be treated. Would you want someone who constantly asks for your gossip and nothing else? Probs not.

All in all, minding your own business makes you a happier person if you really think about it. You don't have to worry about problems that aren't yours. You don't have to worry about anyone saying you're spreading rumors. Really, it'll make you a happier person if you keep to yourself.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter
morethanwheels

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!
