Reality shows are fun to watch. A good mixture of goodlooking girls and boys, fun stories, and lots and lots of drama. What's better to watch on a weekday night am I right? "The Bachelorette" is one of my personal favorite ones, a dating show where one woman, the gorgeous JoJo, gets to choose from a wide range of hunky men. What a lucky girl! With any reality show, there comes obvious ups and downs, and one major portion of this drama was Chad Johnson. Good-lucking, cocky and ever so rightly named, "Bad Chad." He is portrayed eventually as the villain of the show, constantly threatening someone or swooping away JoJo, or just speaking highly of himself while negatively of someone else.

Warning: There are spoilers here!

There are a lot of opinions out there for Chad because of how he talks and acts with most of the people of the house. He even doesn't spend time sweet talking JoJo because he feels like saying he loves her wouldn't be real. Talk about fighting the norm!

But despite all the not so loving comments for Chad, there has to be some props given to him. For one, throughout the show all of the other guys basically group up and start talking about almost nothing but him. We get it, you don't like the guy. That doesn't mean it becomes a reality show for Chad about Chad! You start to feel some sympathy for him because it kind of becomes a one man team. True, sometimes he had it coming, but at least he tried to mind his own business usually.

For another, there was a soft side to him. When he spoke to JoJo, or about his mother, you could see there was stuff that meant a lot to him, he just wasn't good at voicing it. He was a tough guy but there was something else, that JoJo had started to see and I wish could have been unveiled more.

He did questionable stunts, but the guy wasn't some sort of monster.

And another thing, he was super funny. He made me laugh a good amount, and I'm sure a lot of the viewers were interested in the show because of him. Hate him or love him, you were sure to know him. He sure made the show worth watching! The dramatic return given to him and the protein powder rituals done were certainly a way to announce his goodbye. Chad Johnson, we do miss you! Well, most of us.

So's here an article in honor of Chad Johnson and his time on the Bachelorette. Can't wait to see what things you'll have in store on the Bachelors in Paradise! Even though he's gone, the show goes on, and the bachelorette is filled with more great guys and great adventures. Let's see what's coming up next!

Taylor Swift in orange dress playing a moss-covered piano on stage with bright lights.

A three-and-a-half-hour runtime. Nine Eras. Eleven outfit changes. Three surprise songs. Zero breaks. One unforgettable evening. In the past century, no other performer has put on an electric performance quite like Taylor Swift, surpassing her fans ‘wildest dreams’. It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.
