Conspiracy theories are loved for so many reasons, one of which being that we question the world that we live in. Here are some of the fun conspiracy theories that I have found over the years.

1. The Mandela Effect

The Mandela Effect derives from the man himself: Nelson Mandela. Now the theory behind this is that some event happened, whether it be in the present day, and it put us in a parallel universe. This has caused little things to have changed, but some of us still remember. Some of these include The Berenstain Bears. Many people remember them being the Berenstein Bears, and many are furious to find out otherwise. Another involves the well-loved singer Barbra Streisand. That's right. It's Barbra, not Barbara. There's also one about the word definitely. Since so many people spell it wrong, there's a theory that this is because of the Mandela Effect.

2. Avril Lavigne

We all know Avril because of her song Sk8er Boi because she said "See you later boi" and rocks it with how Complicated she makes her meet and greets. The theory that involves Avril Lavigne is that she is DEAD. This all started back in the not so good old days when she was being bombarded with paparazzi, and apparently hired a body double to go out into public for Avril so that she could do whatever she wanted in her day. The double's name was Melissa Mandela. She apparently became very good at being Avril. And after Avril's grandfather passed away, according to the theory, she killed herself because of how distraught his death was to her. But she was at the height of her career. So her record company proposed that Melissa become the new Avril Lavigne. This has been shown through missing birthmarks on "Avril's" arm and face.

3. Beyonce

Apparently, according to this theory, Beyonce has been lying about her age. Right now, the pop singer claims to be 34. This theory takes hold because of Gabrielle Union. She said that her and Beyonce were hanging out when they were teenagers. Gabrielle Union is 43. Also, Beyonce's father has said that Beyonce is the same age as Pink and Usher, who are 36 and 37, respectively. There is a lot of room for error here. Also, did she carry her own baby?

4. JFK and Aliens

One of the many many theories as to why President John F. Kennedy was assassinated was because he was digging too far into whether or not aliens are real. He had said in many press statements and many interviews that he had seen an alien and a UFO (Unidentified Flying Object) and wanted to know the truth. According to this theory, he went to the CIA (Central Intelligence Agency) demanding the truth about extraterrestrials, and 10 days later, he was assassinated. We aren't the only ones doubting that the government is keeping aliens a secret.

5. Britney Spears

There is a theory that Britney has not sung on any of her albums since 2008 when she released her album Blackout. The theory is that her back up singer, Maya Marie, has actually been singing on the albums, at least Blackout. This started because Maya's father was interviewed and he said that there were times that she could sound exactly like Britney when she wanted to. The theory is that she sang for Britney on the album while Britney was having her 2008 crisis. People think this because it sounds like a really good Britney Spears impersonator instead of it actually being Britney herself.

These are some of the conspiracy theories that I have enjoyed over the years because they really make you think about the world you live in. They make you want to think about the world, which at a time like now is everything that we need.
