There are a lot of sights too see at the University of Central Florida. So many tips and tricks that you must get acquainted to as a freshman or transfer student. It may be hard to keep up with as many buildings, facts, and policies here at the University of Central Florida. But fear not. For this is not your typical guide to UCF, but a way to help remember everything you need to know about the University of Central Florida.

A is for Arena

Located on the North side of campus is the CFE Arena. This is where many events take place, such as concerts, movie nights, basketball, and competitions.

B is for Bookstore

The UCF bookstore, located in the John T. Washington Center (aka The Breezeway) is your one stop destination for textbooks and coffee at the Starbucks cafe inside.

C is for Construction

One of the things UCF could be known for is Under Construction Forever. Whenever you think one construction project has finished, another one begins.

D is for Deadlines

Deadlines are an important part of any college. This goes for declines relating to homework, bill payments, and classes. Be sure to always keep track of what you need to get done. Good time management goes a long way.

E is for Everlasting Friendships

Besides the schoolwork, UCF is a place where you meet new friends. The bonds you will create will hopefully last a lifetime.

F is for Football

Football is one of the most important sports on college campuses. And just like the others, UCF takes pride in their football games. they go all out with coordinated student section colors and dedicated fans who come to almost every game.

G is for Graduation

After 4 years at te University of Central Florida, you can finally able to walk across that stage with a diploma in hand. You will feel triumphant as you take your last bow before heading into the working world.

H is for Hercules

As one of the on housing facilities at UCF, Hercules can be mainly seen as an upperclassmen territory with some scattered freshmen.

I is for Integrity

As one of the five pillars of the UCF Creed, Integrity is probably the most important of them all. Integrity means defending academic and personal honesty, which can play a major role during your time at UCF.

J is for John C. Hitt

Our very own president and the man in charge.

K is for Knightro

Of course K is for Knightro! Who wouldn't love the golden knight mascot?

L is for Libra

Libra is another on campus housing facility, although this is strictly a freshman only zone. But in all honesty, it is very cozy and nice.

M is for Memory Mall

Memory Mall is the large stretch of grass between the Student Union and the CFE Arena. Many events are held here, usually after school, as well as some clubs or people who love to throw frisbees.

N is for Nike & Neptune

Nike and Neptune are part of the Academic Village (along with Hercules.) But don't be fooled, Neptune is strictly freshmen living quarters, while Nike is a melting pot of all years.

O is for Orlando

The University of Central Florida is located in Orland, FL. The city of theme parks and fun. Its no wonder why it is such a popular town.

P is for Pointe (After Dark)

Every friday night, in the Neptune Multipurpose Room is the Pointe After Dark. A late night organization that throws a different event every week as an outlet for students to have fun and make new friends without the harmful affects of drugs and alcohol.

Q is for Quiet Hours

When living on campus and during finals week, there is something known as quiet hours. This is when you have to be extra careful and silent. You never know when someone may be studying.

R is for Reflection Pond

One of the biggest sights to see on the UCF campus in the Reflection Pond. Right between Milican Hall and the Library, the reflection Pond is a great place to see by and relax. Or until Spirit Splash comes rolling onto campus again.

S is for Sorority

Like many colleges, UCF also has many Sororities and Fraternities on campus. Each group is specific to a certain goal or cause whether it be volunteering or major related.

T is for Tailgate

What is college football without a tailgate to kick it off? Held on Memory Mall before each game, tailgates are a fun way to get pumped up for the football game.

U is for Undergraduate

Majority of students here at the University of Central Florida are undergraduates. Students seeking a bachelor's degree of their choice in 4 years or less.

V is for Volunteer UCF

Volunteer UCF is a student organization on campus that helps students get involved with volunteering around the community. Volunteering is a good way to give back to society.

W is for Webcourses

Webcourses is the main tool that students and professors use in classes. This program displays all of you assignments, quizzes, grades, and much more.

X is for X-cellent Professors

Like any school, we have our fair share of not-so-great professors but I have certainly had a few that changed my outlook on a class, a subject, and life.

Y is for Yoga Under The Stars

UCF has some of the best gym classes around! They offer everything from yoga to kickboxing and everything in-between. One of the most well-known events they hold is Yoga Under The Stars which, you guessed it, is a yoga class held outside at nighttime! UCF holds them about 3-4 times a year and it's a truly relaxing experience.

Z is for Z-Designation Policy

The Z-Designation Policy is the student conduct guideline incase you have been charged with academic misconduct. So please, be honest with your work.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"

While this question trend can get annoying, there are a couple of pros to having RBF.
