Beach trips are all great, and these ABCs show what all beach trips have in common.

I love the beach. In fact, the beach is my favorite place to be. When I go to the beach, no matter which beach it is, I get the feeling that I am where I'm supposed to be. The beach provides me with a home away from home every time I go, and that's something I love. After my recent trip to the beach, I find it necessary to give a shout out to the best place on earth and share the ABCs of every beach trip...

1. Alcohol

Because everything is better with booze.

2. Beach Babes

Whether they're male, female, or anything in between I guarantee you will see at least one really HOT person on your beach trip.

3. Coolers

Your portable fridge for any trip. It can be filled with sandwiches, water bottles, Gatorades, your alcohol, a salad. Pretty much anything. Coolers are an amazing invention.

4. Driving

Part of the fun with a beach trip is the car ride to get there. License plate game, anyone?

5. Excitement

Mention a beach trip to me and I'll start getting excited weeks in advance. The beach always gets me pumped!

6. Fish

Whether you're fishing or just swimming, it's likely you'll see(or be touched by) a fish.

7. Games

Seeing who can get their feet deepest in the sand, Bocce ball, cornhole. Games enhance any get together, even a trip to the beach.

8. Hats

Baseball hats, big straw hats, visors, the list goes on. When you go to the beach you can see the different types of hats scattered all around.

9. Ice pops

Bust open your cooler and eat one of these delicious little treats when the sun is getting just a little too hot.

10. Jet skis

Though I have never been on one, they always look like so much fun!

11. Kids

The beach is always full of kids who are just looking to have a fun day. Sandcastles everywhere and we have children to thank for that.

12. Lifeguards

Saving someone from drowning or just sitting in that tall chair all day long, you always wanted to rock that sunscreen on your nose like that as a kid.

13. Money

Even a simple day to the beach is going to cost you some money, but every penny spent is easily worth it.

14. Night Swim

Late night walk on the beach followed by a relaxing night time swim? Sounds peacefully perfect, doesn't it?

15. Ocean

Deep and full of things unknown, the oceans provide us with some of the best places on this earth: beaches around the world.

16. Pier

Take a walk, go fishing, or just simply admire the view; piers are always a great edition to any beach trip.

17. Quiet time

Vacation is time for fun, and fun always involves a little peace and quiet to escape your everyday problems.

18. Radio

When your quiet time is up, it's time to crank up the tunes and jam while soaking up some sun.

.

19. Sand

Sand helps make some of the most fun on any trip. Castles, burying each other, and filling your cars because the beach refuses to let you leave without a souvenir.

20. Tan lines

Hours in the sun and what do you have to show for it? You're crazy tan(or sunburn) lines.

21. Umbrellas

The only shield you have to provide some relief from those sun rays throughout the day.

22. Volleyball

There is no game like sand volleyball. Gather your family and friends and get ready to have the time of your life.

23. Waves

Body surfing, regular surfing, almost getting knocked over trying to walk in the shallows. Waves are what make the beach different than just some backyard pool. They provide an unpredictable sense of enjoyment to your water-wading experience.

24. X... I got nothing

Who needs x anyway.

25. Yeti

A yeti cooler ties together a great beach experience by keeping your drinks cold after you take them from the cooler.

26. Zero chance you'll want to leave

When I go to the beach I never want to leave. I'm in paradise and I don't want to go back to my everyday life.

Next time you go to the beach, think about these ABCs!

10 Thoughts Of A 5th Year Senior

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.

11 Times Aubrey Plaza Described Sophomore Year

"I don't want to do things. I want to do not things."

Aubrey Plaza is one of my favorite humans in Hollywood. She's honest, blunt, unapologetic, and hilarious. I just started my sophomore year of college, and found that some of her best moments can accurately describe the start of the school year.

1. When your advisor tells you that you should declare a major soon.

2. Seeing the lost and confused freshmen and remembering that was you a short year ago, and now being grateful you know the ins and outs of the campus.

3. Going to the involvement fair to sign up for more clubs knowing that you are already too involved.

4. When you actually do the reading required for the first class.

5. Seeing your friends for the first time since last semester.

6. When you're already drowning in homework during syllabus week.

7. Realizing you don't have the same excitement for classes as you did as a freshman.

8. Going home and seeing people from high school gets weirder the older you get.

Dear Mom,

You took care of me and my brothers our entire lives and you still continue to! I will not be able to truly grasp all of the hard work that you put into this family until I create my own one day. But, I know that there are plenty of times I forgot to give you a simple thank you or an appreciative smile. I thank you for everything that you have done for me and will continue to do for me. Here are some examples of those times where you had my back and I forgot to pat your back for saving me:

College is hard. As people ages 18-22, we’re just trying to figure out what we’re doing with our lives, our careers, our eating habits, exercise routines, sleep patterns, and other necessities for adult life. We definitely don’t take proper care of ourselves; it’s basically impossible when we have essays, tests and readings due and somehow we’re supposed to eat right, exercise and sleep. We’re doomed to get sick. I have zero experience in science but when I get sick there are certain things I do to make myself better.
