Tonight is the greatest night for movies! For tonight the 89th Academy Awards will be held tonight at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles honoring the best in film for 2016.

2016 was a great year for movies! From musicals to war films, movies about historical figures and independent dramas, 2016 proved to be a historical year for movies.

Leading the pack of nominated films for tonight's Oscars is the musical film La La Land. With 14 Oscar nominations, it is the third film to tie the record for the most nominated movie in Academy Award history. The other two films are All About Eve (1950) and Titanic (1997).

Will La La Land break the record of most wins at the Oscars? The number to beat is 11 and only three films have won that many awards: Ben-Hur (1959), Titanic (1997), and The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003). I say it won't and I hate to be a Debby downer here. I say La La Land will win at least 9 Oscars including Best Picture (which in all honesty I don't think it should but it will because Oscar history tends to award musicals over everything else).

Behind La La Land we have Arrival and Moonlight with 8 nominations a piece. Moonlight is a personal favorite of mine. Its story and cinematography are beautiful and I hope that Moonlight gets the recognition that it deserves.

Other films that are up for awards tonight include Hacksaw Ridge, Lion, Manchester by the Sea, Fences, Hell or High Water, and Hidden Figures. Such great films that are nominated tonight that it is going to be hard to choose who will win.

In all honesty, I hope that La La Land doesn't sweep tonight. All the films that I just listed up above and even other films such as Jackie deserve to have the spotlight on them and not just on one film. But we'll see how that goes tonight.

This year's Oscars are one for the history books. After two years of controversy due to a lack of diversity at the Academy Awards, we see a boost of representation of minorities this year.

Tonights acting nominees have a record-tying seven actors with six black actors (a new record) up for Oscars. Dev Patel could become the first Indian actor to win an Oscar tonight for his performance in Lion.

For the first time in Academy history, each acting category has a black actor, with Best Supporting Actress having three actresses: Viola Davis, Naomi Harris, and Octavia Spencer who won this award in 2012 for The Help.

Viola Davis is also the first black actress to earn three Academy Award nominations having been nominated for Doubt, The Help, and tonight for Fences.

We also have three black writers nominated for screenplay awards, Barry Jenkins Best Director nomination for Moonlight, and the first African-Americans to be nominated for Best Cinematography and Best Film Editing all for Moonlight.

So who will win at this year's Academy Awards? How will Jimmy Kimmel be as a host? Who will be the best dressed? And will we see any political talk tonight? Tune in tonight at 8pm on ABC for the 89th Academy Awards!

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"

While this question trend can get annoying, there are a couple of pros to having RBF.
