It's as if your stomach just knows what time it is. Whether you're out and about after a night at the Jug or cramming before that exam in Case, your stomach somehow always begins to growl begging for some nourishment when the clock strikes 2 a.m. Sometimes choosing food at this hour can prove to be quite challenging. The questions linger: Do I want a meal? Do I want a light snack? Do I want to be healthy? Do I really care? Do I want to eat my feelings? Rather than debating over what you're going to eat until you're starving and eat the entire contents of your fridge and/or pantry use this handy list below for the best late night foods that will satisfy any craving you are having.

1. Mood: Cheesy

Easy Mac

A classic choice: Easy Mac will never fail to satisfy your cheesy-craving. It's also incredibly easy and fast to make for those times when you're in that need-to-eat-now state of hunger.

2. Mood: Salty

Dirty Funky Fusion Chips

These chips are an amalgam of flavors making them truly a "funky fusion" that will most definitely satisfy your late night cravings. Though a mixture of flavors, these chips are both salty and crunchy making them an incredible potato chip.

3. Mood: A Light Meal

Bagel Bites

These mini versions of pizza will satiate you without making you completely stuffed. Once again, these pizzas are very easy to make! Just pop 'em in the microwave for a few minutes and you are good to go.

4. Mood: To Be A Child

Peanut Butter & Jelly

The sweet and salty combination of your favorite childhood sandwich never failed when you were a kid, so it definitely won't fail now.

5. Mood: Something Sweet

Any Flavor of M&M's

M&M's are a very sweet and portable snack that you can find in almost any of the vending machines on campus. With the new flavors that were just released (Chili Nut, Honey Nut, and Coffee Nut!!), you will always have a variety of flavors to satisfy your sweet-tooth cravings.

6. Mood: Healthy

Banana and Peanut Butter

The staple and yet simple snack with leave with you full without that "too full" or "greasy" feeling. It is truly a guilt free!

7. Mood: Really Satiating Without Going Over Board

Quest Bar

These very tasty protein bars come in a variety of flavors (both salty and sweet) and will leave you completely satiated due to its 21 grams of protein. However, they only have 180 calories so are definitely not ruining your diet or bingeing by any means. Feel free to eat any of the flavors (my personal favorite is Cookies & Cream) without feeling like you're truly cheating.

8. When all else fails and you really can't decide

Pizza

Pizza always wins.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
