Whether you're in high school or college, summer vacation is the time you get to do all of the things you couldn't do during school. You can do all of the things you want to do, all the things you've needed to do but didn't have time for, and all of the things that only summer has to offer. Summer has a lot of different elements, so here are 7 different types of summer days that you've likely experienced!
1. The day you spend outside.
Summer's all about the nice temperatures and beautiful sunshine. Some days (hopefully a lot of them!) are spent completely outside, whether it be doing yard work, being active, or sunbathing.
2. The day you spend inside.
Unfortunately, that beautiful summer weather can get a little out of control and turn into heat advisories. On days like this it's too hot to function outside, so you kind of just stay inside and hope nothing happens to your air conditioning. Not to mention the wicked storms that happen in summer!
3. The "catch-up" day.
A lot of time when you're at school it's hard to get things taken care of. That's how you end up spending a lot of your summer days going to various doctors for check ups and doing all of the much-needed shopping that you didn't have time for.
4. The friends day.
When school's out, you FINALLY get to spend some quality time with your friends! This could be getting together with your friends from school, or making up for lost time with your friends from home. Either way, this is one of my favorite things about summer.
5. The adventure day.
Any break gives you the opportunity to explore new places, but something about summer sparks a certain wanderlust that makes you want to adventure. Going to the beach, hiking through the woods, and road trips - the possibilities are endless!
6. The bed-venture day.
Sometimes you spend the entire day in bed because you know what? It's summer, and no on can tell you that you can't.
7. The day that doesn't start until the sun sets.
They didn't name the iconic Grease number "Summer Nights" just for fun. There's a certain magical feeling you get when the sun goes down and it's still nice and warm outside. Evenings outside enjoying a bonfire or stargazing are one of the best summer things.
