Thanksgiving is about sharing quality time with the ones that you love and to take time to give thanks for everything in your life. Your family members from out of town all come together to eat some turkey and celebrate one of the best holidays of the year! I think we all can agree that there are always relatives with some strong personalities around our dinner table during Thanksgiving. Here are some examples:

1. The relative that always asks you if you are dating anyone and you're all like:

I was single last year and I am single again this year. Next year probably won't be any different so don't even bother asking.

2. The person who wants to know what you are doing with the rest of your life:

Mind ya own damn business. I don't even know what I am having for breakfast tomorrow morning, let alone my future plans but I'll make sure to keep you updated through my Facebook.

3. The one who is sentimental and always wants everyone to go around and say what they are thankful for:

Dear Lord Baby Jesus, when can I dig into the turkey and mashed potatoes?

4. The one who always wants to talk about politics:

Thank god the elections are taking place this year! Now you will always have something to talk about at the dinner table.

5. The Person who always takes home all of the leftovers:

They bring their own Tupperware and stock up on all of the food before anyone gets a chance to even eat dessert. I guess there are no turkey sandwiches for you tomorrow!

6. The one that drinks too much

Things can get out of hand pretty quickly at the Thanksgiving table. That drunk aunt is at it again and someone needs to be in charge of taking that bottle of wine away from her.

7. The one who says they are on a diet and you're all like:

I laugh at people when they say they are on a diet at Thanksgiving. If you don't eat it, that just means there is more food for me.

Everyone who is in college right now, or has ever been, knows the struggle of pulling in the strings at the last second. It seems impossible, and you have to do a LOT of things in order to assure your future for the next semester.

April Ludgate, historically, is a very annoyed person, and she doesn't hide it. Of all the times that I binged and re-binged "Parks and Rec," her attitude relates more and more to me.

To The Cheerful Person On Their Rainy Days, You Are Valid

The world is not always sunshine and rainbows, and you do not have to be, either.

Ask friends of mine to name a quality about me, and one a lot them will point out the fact that I am almost always smiling. I like to laugh and smile -- not to quote Buddy the Elf in April, but smiling is my favorite! It is probably my favorite go-to expression. However, what a lot of people do not see is that I have my down days. I have days when smiling and laughing is a real struggle, or when I have so much on my plate that going out of my way to behappy takes more effort than I have stored in me. Be it a symptom of college and growing up or a facet of life, I cannot always be content.
