Most college-aged students have some kind of connection to social media. Most of them also have their favorites. In every friend group, there's destined to be a mix of these kind of friends.

1. Facebook- The friend that keeps in touch with everyone

This friend still uses Facebook-shocker! She's the one who connected with John Doe from middle school and keeps up with him via Facebook. This friend will keep you informed about people you thought you didn't really care about.

2. Pinterest- The crafty friend

She is always trying a new fad, trend or idea. She succeeds at all of her Pinterest based crafts and recipes. She recommends things to all of her friends and the phrase, "I saw X on Pinterest..." is always fresh off her lips. This friend will either fill your life with delicious food or drive you crazy with all the trends she is trying to get you into.

3. Twitter- The frequent updater

She tweets when she's happy. She tweets when she's sad. She subtweets when she's mad. She retweets everything from funny jokes and controversial tweets to hilarious articles. This friend is the first to know everything and twitter is her immediate go-to to share any big news.

4. Snapchat- The friend who documents everything

She posts a picture of every meal. She posts embarrassing videos of all of her friends on her story. She screenshots ugly snaps for blackmail. This friend can be dangerous because she will catch you off guard and share it with everyone you know.

5. Tumblr- The fan-girl

She uses tumblr to reblog everything from her favorite celebrities to pictures of food and everything else she is obsessed with. She constantly has tumblr open in the background and tries to explain to others just how awesome Tumblr is (even though people usually don't get it). This friend is one of a kind.

6. Instagram- The friend that always needs the "insta-worthy" picture

A thousand attempts later, she finally gets it: the perfect picture. Then, she spends about 20 minutes deciding on a perfect caption to complement it. This friend is thoughtful and takes a lot of time into her posts; she probably does not post often.

7. Youtube- The friend that is always trying to show you a video

She is into numerous "Youtube sensations". She is up to date with all of the music videos- Vevo is her best friend- as well as keeping up with the best Jimmy Kimmel segments. This friend will constantly forward you videos that you have to watch.
