6 Reasons Why Audrey Hepburn Is Bae

Hollywood is home to the most outstanding and talented performers, and one of them being the deceased Audrey Hepburn. Audrey Hepburn was the most beautiful and gifted actress out of everyone is the film industry, and when I say beautiful I just don't mean looks, but her soul. Audrey Hepburn not had a beautiful face, but a beautiful heart. Theses are the six reasons why Audrey Hepburn is bae (Before Anyone Else).

1. She was generous.

After retiring from the film industry Audrey Hepburn went on to pursue one of her biggest dreams, and that was to give back to the community. Before her death, Audrey Hepburn spent the last years of her life being an ambassador for UNICEF and helping women and children from all parts of the world. Audrey did not feel the need to give back but she felt the want to give back, and that just shows her true beauty.

2. She was classy and set the right example for girls.

Besides her outstanding talent acting and her kind heart, Audrey Hepburn set the right example for girls by being classy. Audrey Hepburn expressed a lot of elegance and poise, especially in films. Young girls look up to celebrities because they wish to be like them, and Audrey is the best role model a girl can have.

3. She was a fashion icon.

Audrey Hepburn is my spirit animal because of this reason-she was a total style guru! Audrey Hepburn had the best fashion sense in all of Hollywood and is known for being a fashion icon. Her style is a combination of classy, and most importantly, fabulous!

4. Her role as Holly Golightly in "Breakfast at Tiffany's" makes my life.

If you have not seen "Breakfast at Tiffany's," go on Netflix and watch it right now because her role as Holly Golightly in the film makes my life! Holly Golightly is a New York socialite who's goal in life is to have fun and not let anyone tie her down. She's hilarious, gorgeous, and has an adorable sidekick (spoiler alert: it's her pet cat named 'cat').

5. She had a horrifying childhood but still turned out to be a nice person.

Before her acting career, Audrey did not have a very good childhood. In fact, she actually had to witness the Nazi Party take over Europe, and remove Jewish people from their homes and sending them concentration camps. But wait there's more! Her father abandoned her as a child, and Audrey described this misfortunate event being "the most traumatic event of my life." With her father again and the Nazi's terrorizing Europe, the poor girl almost died of starvation. For somebody who went through a lot of horrifying obstacles, you would they turn out to be spiteful and bitter, but not Audrey. Audrey encountered an awful childhood, but she was still strong enough to overcome it and be the wonderful person that we all know and love.

6. She was a loving and selfless mother.

Audrey's goal in life was to be a mother, and that is what she became. Audrey Hepburn had two sons, Sean Ferrer and Lucca Dotti. Audrey had two sons from two failed marriages, but she did not let the disappointment of her love life get in the way of raising her boys. While she was raising her children, she was in the film industry at the time and did not want Sean and Lucca's personal lives be taken by the media, so she made sure that they stayed out of the spotlight as much as possible. I think Audrey did'y even care if she had to end her acting career, all she wanted was to be with her boys. Not that the mothers of Hollywood are bad mothers, but I don't believe they would sacrifice their careers and expensive materials for their children to have normal lives. Audrey's limitless love and affection for her children was another aspect that made her beautiful inside and out, and her beautiful spirit is what I love the most about her.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
