Well, you're off to college and as daunting as it may seem, there are a few things to look forward to when you get there. The freedom of being on your own which ultimately teaches you that it's not as easy as you thought it was going to be. That wonderful union food that is talked so highly about on your campus tour that once you start attending school there it becomes not so great after all. But one of the greatest things that you can look forward to is the people you will meet. Some of them will become lifelong friends and others you may never see again. These are the six people you will meet in college.

1. Your roommate (If you have one)

Obviously, one of the first people you will meet is your roommate, if you have one. They may already be there when you arrive or you may be their welcoming party. However, it will go one of two ways. You will either become great friends or you are in for the longest semester of your life. However it may go is left up to you. Make the right choices and you will be in for a great year.

2. You're best friend

The second person you will meet is the one person who will become your best friend. This person could ironically also be your roommate. They will be the one who you want to spend most of your time with because they just get you. This person understands everything you do mostly because they do some of the same things. Sometimes you will go on late night rides blaring music and laughing until it hurts.

3.The person who makes you smile

This is probably the most special of all people you will meet. Sometimes it will be a girl who has stolen your heart or a guy who has you awestruck. But the one thing that never changes is the fact that they can always make you smile. You can be having the worst of days but something about them can make you instantly smile. There is just something about them that brightens your day. You can't put your finger on it, but they have a certain affect on you that you cannot deny.

4.The senior that you're going to miss

Sadly you will meet at least one senior that you are going to miss. You even tell yourself repeatedly not to get attached but it still happens somehow. You seem to form a relationship that is unbreakable. But as graduation approaches, you know that a sad time is approaching and so you seem to cherish the time spent with this person that much more. You tell them to never leave or that they can't graduate but in the end, maybe it is to teach you a deeper lesson that you just don't understand yet.

5. Your professor

This person is almost unavoidable, that is unless you decide that you're just going to skip every class after paying for it. To tell you the truth, you're not going to like every single teacher that you have and some of them may not like having you as a student and that's okay too. Sometimes you have to learn the hard lesson that not everyone is going to be friendly. But it is inevitable that you will meet at least one professor that you really enjoy having. Sometimes these types of professors will change your whole perspective on this "school" thing.

6. The person who makes you want to come back

Finally, you will meet at least one person who helps make the final decision on whether or not to come back next year. These are the greatest kinds of people to stick around. The people who you want to see over the summer even though they may be hundreds of miles away. This person not only makes you realize how much you like going to school but challenges you to always do your best. In the end, this person is almost like a parent away from home.

In the end, these six people that you will meet in college ultimately shape your future. They help you make some of your biggest and best decisions of your life and also some of the wildest ones. One thing that remains true is everyone that has met these six people would look back and tell you that they wouldn't change a thing. Some things along the way may have been a little troublesome but in the end shaped the path in front of them.

Dear High School Friend Group,

My sweet angels, where would I be without you guys. We all grew up together because we either met in middle school or high school and watched each other grow up and get "old." We got to go to prom together and then graduate together. Then watched each other as we continued our lives in college, joining sororities and meeting people who will impact our lives forever. It all has happened so fast.

Oh college, we can’t live with you, but we can’t live without you. It’s a love/hate relationship, really. College is an experience that no one can ever prepare you for, and maybe that’s a good thing. You never really expect any of the things that college encompasses until you are there. College is fun, but don’t have too much fun. C’s get degrees, but they don’t get you into graduate school.

Blair Waldorf

The "Gossip Girl" series may be over, but Blair Waldorf's iconic character lives in our hearts forever. Blair was the queen of the Upper East Side, and a character you either loved or hated. She taught us everything we needed to know about life, love and of course, how to score a Chuck Bass. So the next time you feel a bit lost and are in need of guidance, look no further than to the Queen B herself.

As I spend my Sunday avoiding my homework and other adult responsibilities, I realized that I've watched this series over and over about a million times. Sadly, there isn't a Blair quote I don't know, so I came up with a list of a few favorites. You know you love her...xoxo
