If you're a girl or guy who loves makeup, then you know what an experience going to Sephora is. The extremely bright lights, the "just in" section at the front, and the new highlighter you just have to have.

Going into Sephora with another makeup lover makes the shopping experience that much better. If you don't have a friend as Champagne Pop crazy as you, make a friend in the store!

Shopping at Sephora has stages, self-promises of only buying mascara, and a feeling of excitement leaving the store to go home and try on your newest products.

The stages of a daily shopping trip to Sephora are:

1. Swatches

Every true "beauty guru" knows that swatching is one of the most important things when it comes to buying makeup. Swatches test pigmentation, skin tone matching, or if the lipstick color is right for you.

2. Looking at absolutely everything in the store

Even though you've seen every single product in the store 100 times, it's better to make sure to double check just to make sure you didn't miss anything. This also includes looking at every product you already own and contemplating buying another just in case you run out.

3. Talking yourself out of buying 8 things

"Do you really need another primer?" "I'll get the foundation next time so I can get the brow wiz today". These are often questions I ask myself when contemplating what to buy. Realizing you don't have a good $500 to drop on things you already have ten of, but just need one more is a bit discouraging. However, every time you somehow manage to buy a new highlighter every single time you make a purchase.

4. Hoping for the VIB Rouge at checkout

Every Sephora shoppers dream is a VIB Rouge membership, which means you've spent $1000+ in Sephora over the last year. Once surpassing the beauty insider status and becoming a VIB, the pressure is on to get to the next and final level. At every check out leading up, you're hoping that the cashier congratulates you on finally becoming a VIB Rouge, or at least up for the 500 point prize.

5. Rushing home to do your makeup

Even after going to Sephora full faced, going home to take off your makeup and start over with your new products is one of the most satisfying feelings. Opening the new packaging and finally trying the product you've been waiting so long to try makes spending your entire paycheck in one day worth it.

These 5 stages happen every time the opportunity comes up to go to Sephora, and somehow each trip gets more and more exciting.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
