So you finally got those tickets, huh? When you heard your favorite group announced their tour dates, you couldn't get online fast enough to find the show closest to you. Whether someone in your life surprised you with tickets, or you saved the entire year waiting for the moment to claim your seat, you've got a wait ahead of you. There's no doubt you're counting down the days, hours, and minutes until you'll see your love(s).

Here are the 5 stages of your wait.

1. The 'IS THIS REAL?!' stage:

YES, boo, it is. No matter how many times you look at your tickets or where you're seated it definitely doesn't feel like it though. You're so excited you find yourself dancing around the house, wondering if maybe you're in a dream. People may think you're a little crazy, but you're seeing your love(s). You're allowed to be a little crazy.

2. The 'Heart Eyes Emoji' stage:

You are BACK in the fandom, if you ever even left. From Instagram stalking, to being keenly aware of every tweet they make, to analyzing every gif you see of them: you are OBSESSED. This could very well be your day to day, but either way, you're going to see them soon! You've quickly become their number one fan x10 and it seems as if no one truly understands how deep your feelings run. Change your wallpaper, and keep drooling, this stage seems to never goes away.

3. The "I don't care how many times we've listened to this CD, no you cannot have the aux chord." stage:

You're serious too. No one can get in the way of you and listening to your favorites. Chances are, it's a new CD since the artist just announced a tour, and you silently vowed to not listen to anything else the moment your pre-order downloaded. There's plenty of reasons: you still haven't gotten over to listening to the lovely music that's so new, you have to familiarize yourself so you can scream every word or instrumental part in the crowd, and most of all, you're EXCITED and they're still all you can think about.

4. The 'Ignorant Bliss' stage:

Ali has the right idea, and we all wish it were reality from time to time. There are 2 or 3 months until your concert, and you don't think you can function living every day being excited. You don't want to wish your life away, but when did weeks start feeling like they had 14 days instead of 7? So you try to live your life normally, ignoring the little devil on your shoulder that wants to interrupt your day and activate your fangirl/boy mode. Even listening to their music you have to actively not think about the fact that in however many weeks you'll be screaming that song at the top of your lungs in the crowd. Every time you do though, that super big grin spreads across your face. You know the one I'm talking about.

5. The 'Day of' stage:

This stage can happen every day the whole week before the concert. You have no idea what to do with your emotions. All of the stages are happening within 24 hours or even all at once. You won't recall anything that happens in these days, it's all more of a 'before concert' trance. You're floating through every event happening to you, with only one thing on your mind: THE CONCERT IS NEAR OR IT'S HERE.

So carry on my friends. Your concert is coming soon, and YOU'VE GOT THIS. Keep waiting, keep daydreaming, and clear some storage on your phone so you'll have plenty of pictures and videos to remember one of the best nights of your life!

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
