1. Fight like hell.
During the 2004 playoffs, Curt Schilling pitched through a torn tendon sheath, and still managed to give up only six hits and six runs. If that doesn't scream "legend," then the bloody sock of their logo that hangs proud does.
2. Never, ever, quit.
The Boston Bruins had the greatest comeback in NHL history when they were losing 4-1 in the third period of game 7 of the Eastern Conference quarterfinals. Boston erupted when the Bruins ultimately won the Stanley Cup.
3. No matter how much it hurts, finish what you started.
Bruins player Gregory Campbell got destroyed by a slapshot, which shattered his leg, but he still managed to finish his shift and change with his line. Gregory Campbell is one of Boston's biggest savages.
4. Stay hungry, but humble.
We all know Tom Brady the greatest, but he shows it in so many more ways than the rings on his fingers.
