Living in a sorority is an experience unlike any other. I currently live with 70 girls. Yes, 70. I was both nervous and excited going into it, but after a few months, I realized how fun and rewarding it is. I have met some of the greatest people and have had such fun experiences. Living in a sorority is a once-in-a-lifetime experience and I wouldn't trade it for anything.

1. Shower Parties

Some of my friends and I plan when we will shower during the day, so we each pick our favorite shower, blast the tunes, and sing our hearts out together.

2. Sorority Chef

When living in a sorority, you feel like a princess because you live in a mansion with all your best friends AND you have a chef who cooks all your meals. Can it get any better?

3. Girls Night

Going out with your friends is fun, but sometimes you just need a night in with your girls watching a movie and eating some great snacks and late night mimosas.

4. They are always there for you

I have never felt more love and support from a group of people. I feel so lucky to have people around me that genuinely care about my well-being. They would drive hundreds of miles to come get me out of a bad situation and cuddle me when I am sad. And you know what? I would do the same for them. You create such close bonds with these people and at the end of the day, you would do anything for them.

5. You meet your best friends

"From the outside looking in, you can't understand it. From the inside looking out, you can't explain it."

Being in a sorority has given me some of my best friends: the girls that will stand next to me on my wedding day. These are the girls I would do anything for and that is a truly special thing. I am not close with everyone in my sorority, but being in the same sisterhood bonds everyone in a way. You have this one, special thing in common with 170 other girls that you can't share with anyone else. I feel so lucky to have been able to have this experience and that I get to create these amazing memories with these beautiful people.

The Battle Between College And My Mental Health

College isn't easy, and I'm afraid I'm not going to make it at the rate my mental health is going.

Everyone tells you that college is hard, but they fail to explain why. Sure, classes are hard. Math sucks, and political science can be so boring. But that's not even what's killing me about college. What's killing me about college is my deterioating mental health.

As a college student, I feel as if people don't understand just how exhausted I, and fellow college students are. We have so many things going on, all the time, and sometimes it's hard to explain to people how we feel. Personally...I'm tired. I'm sad. And I'm struggling every single day with my emotions. But the thing is, it hasn't always been this way. I haven't always hated school, so why am I feeling like this now?
