The Fourth of July might just be one of the most fun holidays in the south. We are always patriotic, but on this day we can root for 'Merica as loud and as much as we want to. If you are in the south on this holiday, it'll be one of the best holidays you've had!

1. We are probably on the lake or the river at some point.

2. You will probably hear someone say 'Merica at least 100 times throughout the weekend/day.

3. We go all out to show our patriotism.

4. We grill a lot and we eat a lot.

5. We usually host our own fireworks displays.

6. We invite every person we know to celebrate the event with us.

7. Girls jump at the chance to take pictures of themselves with absolutely anything with the American flag on it.

8. Most importantly, we spend the day celebrating and thanking every single person who has fought for our freedom, because it doesn't come without a price.
