Since it is March, it's time to talk about the most famous time of year in college sports: March Madness! To me, it's literally like a holiday all March long and the greatest time of year. Every game is exciting and it keeps you on the edge of your seat until the last few seconds. We will see a lot of upsets in this tournament, a lot of tough battles, and probably even a comeback. But I didn't come to talk to y'all about how good March Madness will be. I am here to talk about who are the favorites to win the tournament this year:
The four favorites to win the Tournament:
1. Kentucky
Kentucky has a really good chance of winning the national championship. Their ability to play the game is amazing. They are great in every category, but only if they get a chance to out shoot you. Don't let them do that, or else you won't be able to get back in the game unless your team has a good shooting percentage as well. The person on their team you really have to worry about is Malik Monk. I'm not saying the rest of the team is important, but he is their main scorer most of the time. Watch out for this team in the tourney!
2. Kansas
Kansas is a very well developed team. They are a very good and athletic team. I know they lost recently to TCU, but they still have a chance of winning a title this year. They have great defensive pressure and can also score effectively. If they come back with a bang, they will win again.
3. North Carolina
These are, in my opinion, the guys who are going to win the national championship this year but with one condition. They have to play effectively and consistently. If they do that, they will win it, no doubt. They really have the best players on their team and they also have the will to win too. Also, this is my favorite to win the championship.
4. Villanova
This is by far everyone's favorite to win. They won the championship last year and most of their team returned from last year. So, why wouldn't they be the favorites? Villanova really does have that championship mentality and the will to win another one for a consecutive year. I think if North Carolina doesn't pull it off, Villanova will definitely win it again.
