In Sarasota you can find a plethora of shops and restaurants. St. Armand’s Circle has amazing spots for meals with a wide range of choices such as Shore, Tommy Bahama, and The Colombia. St. Armand’s is also the home of the cutest shops where you could get a nice new pair of sunglasses or artisanal soap.
You might also find a huge range of choices for spas, nail salons, hair salons, and massage studios.
Those who love to shop must make a stop at the University Town Center Mall that has over 100 shops and restaurants.

If you are someone who needs action and adventure to have fun, don’t worry! Sarasota offers all kinds of activities. You can see it from a bird’s-eye view while parasailing along the coast. There are many places to rent jet-skis, paddleboards, kayaks, and boats. You may consider going tubing or fishing. There are endless possibilities to get your blood pumping.
Craving some culture?
Sarasota is the home of the Ringling Museum where you can find an array of artwork varying from Renaissance and Baroque to Modern Art. The Ringling grounds are also the location of the Circus Museum where you can learn about the roots of the famous Ringling Circus.
The Historic Sarasota Opera house is a popular spot to feel fancy and catch a classical show but if you are feeling a bit more contemporary, you might want to check out what is playing at the Florida Studio Theatre or the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall where you may typically find local plays or touring Musicals. And if you’re feeling silly there is always Drag Queen Bingo at the Player’s Theatre on Friday nights.
