Something borrowed, something blue; the best of the best.

15. "Mama Mia!"

A duet with James Bond and Meryl on a beautiful Greek island? Yes please.

14. "Bridesmaids"

Kristen Wiig might be poor, but this movie is hilarious! The dresses, the friendships... fabulous!

13. "The Sound of Music"

How do you solve a problem like Maria? Marry her off in a subtle and beautiful ceremony. THAT JULIE ANDREWS TRAIN, THOUGH.

12. "My Big Fat Greek Wedding"

A nice church wedding; the dress is a bit of a fluffy mess, but a ceremony that celebrates a love large enough to overcome the kooky family is a win.

11. "The Princess and the Frog"

The beautiful colors, the dress, and the magical kiss that breaks the spell are all timeless.

10. "Twilight: Breaking Dawn, Pt. 1"

The movie might have been suspect, but the beauty of the ceremony cannot be denied. The beautiful backyard setting, the flowers in the canopy, but most importantly, HER DRESS. Iconic.

9. "Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones"

Real talk: Anakin Skywalker and Padme were my childhood OTP, I adored the way the sunset glistened off her dress as they professed their love for each other.

8. "27 Dresses"

The most perfect beach wedding I have ever seen on film. The sound of the waves, the look in her groom’s eyes as she walks down the aisle, the emotional punch of everyone finally showing up for Jane... gets me in tears every time.

7. "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows, Pt. 1"

Bill and Fleur’s wedding was one of the last cheery things to happen in the film. The tent style celebration, the majesty of her dress, and the purple and black color palate created a memorable occasion of absolute magic.

6. "Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement"

Oh, look, another Julie Andrews role. Sure, it was supposed to be Mia’s party, but Clarisse and Joe finally admitting they were meant for each other led to a beautiful ceremony.

5. "Love Actually"

Who doesn’t love a wedding where the guests break out into a rousing rendition of "All You Need is Love," much to the delight of the newlyweds?

4. "Tangled: Ever After"

Rapunzel looks absolutely gorgeous in her gown and pixie cut. Few can resist a dashing Eugene Fitzherbert.

3. "Nanny McPhee"

I literally cannot watch this scene without sobbing my eyes out. Nanny McPhee loses all her blemishes to reveal her true beauty. Evangeline finally looks and feels like the Princess she always was. Plus, SNOW!

2. "Cinderella"

I can’t lie, this is so far up the list simply because her dress is the loveliest thing I have ever seen. This scene made me wish for a Kit of my own to walk through life with as I remember the mantra to "Have Courage and be Kind."

1. "Up"

Though we spend mere minutes with them, Carl and Ellie are the perfect Disney couple. Their wedding is quirky and sweet, everything that makes them and their love story great.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
