The 12 Types Of Frat Guys You'll Meet In College

In college, you meet a lot of different people, including the frat boys, and for some reason, people seem to group them into their own little stereotype. Although lots of brothers share the same qualities, there are many different characters that make up a frat. Here are some of the different frat brothers that your bound to meet at one point in college.

1. The workout junkie

You probably see him at the gym more often than you see him at the house. And chances are, he also doubles as the bouncer at your favorite bar.

2. The f---boy

At first he seems like the whole package: perfect body, luscious locks and that rare "bring home to Mom and Dad" personality. But, it doesn't take long for you to find out that he's faker than the average sorority girl. He's probably tried to get with every single girl in your friend group.

3. The dad bod brother

Whether he joined with a dad bod or it developed after joining, this bro has a beer belly like no other and arms that can compete with your out-of-shape dad. While he's loved the way he is, he should probably think about hitting the gym before it gets any worse.

4. The Einstein

You can't believe it until you see him live at a frat party. He's the smartest kid in the frat and does the work/takes the exams for almost all his brothers. He's always down to help you "study" for the next exam.

5. The typical frat star

He's the frattiest of the frat. His classic go-to outfit consists of black Ray-Ban wayfarers (which he wears regardless of the weather), Sperry boat-shoes, Patagonia vest, Ralph Lauren button-down and Vineyard Vines khakis.

6. The "how the hell did he get in?"

Every frat has one and you probably had someone in mind before you even finished reading this.

7. The heartbreaker

Similar to the f---boy, you've probably been warned about this kid. At first, he seems like the whole package, but sooner or later he shows his bad side. The worst part is he can't even properly apologize (because he's always right).

8. The rager

Every day that ends in a "y" is the perfect day to blackout.

9. The DJ

You'll never be disappointed when he's picking the music for the night.

10. The stoner

He's the go-to after a night out (or really anytime during the week). He's the chillest and most relaxed of the group.

11. The super senior

Wait, didn't he graduate two years ago? This title is earned not only by those whole still haven't graduated, but also the brothers who have graduated and insist on coming back to visit a few times a year.

12. The 10/10

He has that distinct, foreign look and you can't help but stare in awe when he walks by. You can only dream of one day getting to know him.

So, the next time a brother asks you, "Who do you know here?" just list of a few of these.
