The 12 Struggles of Transitioning to College Life

You think you're excited for college, until you actually make the transition...

1. The two hour plus drive back to campus can have you wishing for more summer.

2. And cramming all your stuff back into the dorm room? Forget it.

3. The days of sleeping till noon are over. Say hello to 9am wake up calls...

4. ...and staying up until 3 in the morning to finish the homework you put off.

5. You'll forget how nice it is having your own room at home when your roommate starts bringing her annoying friends over.

6. And you'll definitely miss your mom doing the dishes and laundry back at home...

7. ...Not to mention the home cooked meals.

8. You'll soon long for the days of summer, when your only job was working on your tan.

9. When you get that first massive project, you'll be mourning for July.

10. Group projects are personal deliveries from Satan himself. You'll be raging all week.

11. When the snow comes, you'll consider migrating south for the winter.

12. But then again, you know you'll be missing school as soon as you leave!

Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
