The Holidays are finally here and it's my favorite time of the year. There are a ton of amazing things that come from the holidays, one of the things I love doing is answering questions that people enjoy asking me. So here are the top 12 questions people ask me:

1. How is school going

Yes this is everyone's favorite question to ask me during the holidays: I usually say it's not bad as well as downplaying how school is going.

2. Do you have a girlfriend

Everybody likes knowing if i've found a girlfriend. I always downplay this and say I still haven't found a girlfriend.

3. Who's going to win the National Championship for college football

Since I love college football and with football being my favorite sport, people ask me who might win it all and I usually say anybody other than Alabama.

4. What's your favorite social media platform

People love knowing what my favorite social media is since I use it a lot. Twitter is my favorite because everyone expresses their opinions and it's funnier than Facebook.

5. What is your favorite non-sports game to play

I love playing Color Switch and Candy Crush because they're both extremely challenging games that have a lot to do with fun and strategy.

6. What activities do you like to do outside of the classroom

This is one of my favorite questions to answer. I love playing soccer and love to swim as well as hanging out with my friends and going to Younglife.

7. What is your least favorite subject in school

I can't stand answering this questions because I really don't like talking about subjects i've struggled with in school. Science is my least favorite subject because Chemistry and Physics were super boring in high school.

8. What would you like for Christmas

It gets a little annoying when relatives from New York send so many text messages looking for answers as to what I want. I honestly don't ask for much since I don't need a whole lot as well as I'm not a little kid anymore.

9. Which vacation spot has been your favorite place to go

Hilton Head, South Carolina is an unbelievable place to vacation because how close you are to the ocean as well as the nice golf courses the area has to offer.

10. Which vacation spot would you most want to go to

Whenever people ask me this I tell them I'd love to go to Cancun because it looks beautiful out there as well as me leaving the country for the first time ever.

11. Which college football program do you hate the most

This is my favorite question to answer because I have a great response to it. I absolutely dislike Notre Dame because the program gets so lucky as well as being overhyped. Plus I know most people's lives are miserable when they go to Notre Dame.

12. Favorite Christmas Gift Santa Has Given to Me

This question was the hardest one to answer because I loved every gift Santa has ever given to me. My favorite gift from Santa would have to be a book that detailed every Sports Illustrated cover from the 1950s to the early part of 2010.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
