All-nighters. We have all been there and they suck. There are however 11 stages to each and every all-nighter. No one illustrates this better than the crew over at Dunder Mifflin Paper Company.

1. Oh god I forgot I have a paper due tomorrow. It's OK, I can get it done; I'll just have to stay up all night. It's fine though, really.

2. Wow, I don't know half of the words in this prompt. I wish I had actually gone to class more. Maybe then this would make sense.

3. What are you saying? You can do this! You're smart and beautiful, and people love you.

4. I am a genius; I'll go to the Internet to find some scholarly journals on my topic! *pulls up Wikipedia pages relevant to topic*

5. Wow, I'm kind of burnt out after all that work. Maybe some exercise will clear my mind.

6. Wow look at that. I'm almost halfway done and its only 2:30 a.m. Go me!

7. I deserve a break, plus it'll be the perfect time for a snack. What do I want? Hm, definitely something healthy so I can keep working on this paper but what should I — oh is that ice cream? Ice cream sounds good right now. You know what, I've worked hard; I deserve some ice cream.

8. Alright, now back to work. Let's just see where I left off. Wait, what the hell have I been writing? I don't think a single one of these sentences actually makes sense.

9. *Checks watch* Oh god it's already 4! Oh well, I just have to finish this now, who cares if it makes no sense. I know, I'll make sure to some key vocabulary words so when the professors inevitably skims my paper, they'll pop out. I mean she's not actually going to read, like, 40 of these is she?

10. OK, I just need about one more page, but I'm all out of information to write about. Maybe if I just start writing something will come to me.

11. Wow that is a beautiful sunrise. *checks watch* 7:45. Perfect, just enough time to print this off, go to class and turn it in. Wait, don't I have another paper due tomorrow for my other class? *checks planner* Oh joy, I do. Goodbye, library I'll see you in a few hours.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

Thanksgiving break is over and Christmas is just around the corner and that means, for most college students, one hellish thing — finals week. It's the one time of year in which the library becomes over populated and mental breakdowns are most frequent. There is no way to avoid it or a cure for the pain that it brings. All we can do is hunker down with our books, order some Dominos, and pray that it will all be over soon. Luckily, we are not alone in this suffering. To prove it, here are just a few of the many deranged thoughts that go through a college student's mind during finals week.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."
