Many dog food companies advertise that they contain healthy ingredients but, what they fail to mention is, their ingredients also include many fillers, artificial ingredients, and ingredients that have been shown to adversely affect the health of dogs. There is also a major difference between premium dog brands and cheaper dog brands. Read this carefully so that you can prevent your dog's future illnesses.

1. Purina Beneful Original Formula:This has been rated the worst dog food on the market. Purina Beneful original formula is full of harmful fillers that could potentially do more harm than good for your furry friend. This formula has been known to cause skin and allergy conditions, gastrointestinal problems, liver failure, and death for a number of dogs. Your dog may not experience symptoms right away but, if the dog continues on this formula it will eventually develop these possible fatal side effects.

2. Blackwood 1000 Chicken Meal & Corn Formula:

The ingredients listed in this formula do not include any healthy beneficial effects for your dog. In fact, the ingredients that are in this formula could be harmful to your animal. There are a lot of GMO's included in the formula. It is suggested by many that GMO's are not safe for other's to eat. It would definitely not be beneficial to feed this formula to your dog.

3. Wegmans Bruiser Kibble Variety Mix:

This dry dog food belongs to the store brand of Wegman's. This variety mix is known to contain many chemicals including BHT, BHA, xantham gum, corn gluten, and food coloring. This brand is very affordable, but you do get what you pay for. Usually if the dog food is cheap, the ingredients are cheap as well.

4. Purina Dog Chow:

Purina dog chow is known as one of the most dangerous dog food brands out there. This dog food has caused thousands of canine deaths to the point where a class action lawsuit was filed against the company. Purina has never admitted the responsibility related to all of the deaths.

5. Hill’s Science Diet Adult Dog Food:

Many vets recommend this very pricey dog food although no logic backs this up. This expensive dog food has the same harmful ingredients that the cheaper dog food contains. Science diet is packed with fillers and other toxic ingredients. There have been several cases where dogs would die of anal cell carcinoma and other pet owners admit that their pet got sick immediately after ingesting this brand.

6. Walmart’s Ol’ Roy Dog Food:

Would you feed your dog corn, soybean meal, corn syrup, and ground wheat? Of course not. Those ingredients are known to cause allergies and digestive issues in your pet. Even though we know this, those are the ingredients in Ol' Roy dog food. The brand is getting all of the cheaper ingredients so that they can sell more of this brand at a lower price.

7. Purina Be Happy Beef Flavor Dog Food:

Be happy can be misleading in this Purina brand dog food. The ingredients in this formula are very similar to Walmart's Ol' Roy. This formula contains ground yellow corn, ground wheat, soybean meal, and beef and bone meal. This is hardly a nutritious meal you would feed to your dog.

8. Pedigree Adult Complete Nutrition Beef Flavor Dry Dog Food:

Pedigree has had many complaints over the years with different formula's but this formula has been the worst of them all. If their dog isn't vomiting and having diarrhea after the meal then there are deaths reported. It's main ingredients contain ground whole corn, meat and bone meal, corn gluten meal, and animal fat. This formula also contains artificial coloring and vegetable oil. Pedigree has admitted that their kibble contains pig hair.

9. Purina Veterinary Diets:

Again, veterinarians are recommending a brand of dog food even though the ingredients may be harmful to your pet. The title of this brand is just a ploy to get dog owners to buy this for their pets because they think it may be healthier. There are certainly no beneficial ingredients in this formula unless propylene glycol, caramel color, soy, and corn gluten count.

10. Kibbles ‘n Bits Original Formula:

Have you ever seen the Kibbles and Bits commercial on TV? It's very cute, but not the outcome of your dog's health if they eat it. This formula has been known to cause deaths in your pet. Not only are there many preservatives in this formula but the package also lists very vague ingredients. Those vague ingredients include animal digest, this is what gives the Kibble's its chicken flavor, and what middling's, which makes the food appear larger than it actually is for the consumer to buy.

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
