The 10 Types Of People In Every Friend Group

Every group of friends is made up of people with all different types of personalities. Without each person, the group simply would not be the same. Here are some examples of the kinds of people that every friend group has.

1. The Goofball.

This one is self-explanatory. This kid is always the one making everyone laugh and acting like a fool. They make everything a joke and they always are ready to roast you at any time.

2. The Sassy One.

This is the person who is always saying something shady. They always have a sassy and sarcastic response to everything that you say. It’s funny when they "sass" other people but when you get it happens to you, it’s kind of intimidating.

3. The Mom.

This is the sensible person of the group. This person maintains and manages the group's image.Whenever the group is in public, this person makes sure that every group member is acting right and not embarrassing the group.

4. The Troublemaker.

(Essentially the one that “the mom” gets the most annoyed with, because this is usually the person who needs to be “mommed.”) This is the person that is always scheming on the low. They are very sneaky and love to stir up trouble. This is the one who would always be grounded, or in some type of trouble, with their parents when everyone was younger.

5. The Clueless One.

This is the kid who never knows what’s going on at any given point. You really have to explain yourself to this person because they simply just don’t get it. You have to explain things to them at least three times in order for this person to finally catch on.

6. The Dancing One.

You can’t take this one anywhere because they will start dancing with no shame whenever and wherever they go. In church, in class, at the movies, at work, you name it, they’ll always be dancing.

7. The Fighter.

This is the one who is always ready to throw hands. Whenever the group goes out, this is the person who wants to argue and fight with everybody that looks at their friends funny.

8. The One That’s Always Eating.

This is the person that always has some type of food in their mouth. They are always talking about how hungry they are, but somehow they stay so skinny, and you wonder how they do it.

9. The Fashionista.

This is the girl that is always looking good. Their makeup, hair and outfit are always on "fleek." This is the girl that does your makeup for you, and the girl that you bring with to go shopping. Also, you continue stealing clothes from her closet.

10. The Smartie Pants.

This is the one that is super smart without any effort. They party all the time, but somehow, they ace every single one of their tests. It’s so unfair, always bragging about their grades and whatnot.

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate
Mental Floss

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."
