10 Types of Friends Everyone Has

We all have that group of friends we can't live without. You know, the friends you have a group message with and hang out with the most.

As the years go by and we all get older, it is very easy to tell which of your friends is the mom or partier, etc. Each friend has a specific label, and I am here today to list off the 10 types of friends everyone has.

1. The friend that's always sleeping.

We all have that friend who, no matter how many times you call and text, they are still sleeping. They sleep through parties and sleepovers. Their go-to text message is always "Sorry I was sleeping." But on the bright side, you will always have a napping partner.

2. The friend that's always Googling questions.

We all have that friend who won't agree with you until it has been proven by Google. Their Google search history is probably the weirdest anyone has seen. But you know they will always make sure you are right and informed.

3. The friend who wants everything to be perfect.

We all have that friend who won't rest until everything is perfect. They are always organized and never late. Even when something is perfect, they think they can do better. But you know they can plan a killer party and keep the rest of the friend group organized.

4. The friend who will "pay you back."

We all have that friend who is always borrowing money. They always promise it won't happen again and that they will pay you back, even though you know that day will never come. But you can easily bring it up whenever they do have money. Dinner is on them.

5. The friend with the voice of reason.

We all have that friend who knows when you are being stupid and will tell you. They are the mom of the group but also are there to guide you. They sometimes aren't the most fun, but you will thank them later for keeping you out of trouble.

6. The friend who never speaks.

We all have that friend who stays quiet and you forget is there. They are super shy and can be hard for others to get to know. They are always silently listening in the back, but when they speak it is important.

7. The friend who is always working.

We all have that friend who never has time to hang out because they are working. When they aren't busy being an adult, they are working hard to get money. But when they finally need a break, they are ready to party.

8. The friend who is a hot mess.

We all have that friend who is out of control and has no limits. They are always running late and forgetting what to do next. But when it's time to have a good time, they know what to do.

9. The friend who tries everything at least once.

We all have that friend who is always bragging about the new thing they tried. They always try to one up you. But they are always there to make you try new things and be adventurous.

10. The friend you love to hate.

We all have that friend we love to pick on just because. No matter how hard they try, they are still the butt of every joke. They may say some stupid things, but you and the friend group love them and they know it.

Every friend group has a few of these types of friends in it. Every type of friend brings something new to the friendship, and you wouldn't change them for the world.

Now that Halloween is over, it's time to focus on the Holiday Season. Don't get me wrong, I think Thanksgiving is great and can't wait for it, but nothing gives me greater joy than watching Freeform's 25 Days of Christmas, lighting peppermint scented candles, decking the halls, and baking gingerbread cookies. So while we approach the greatest time of the year, let's watch the 15 best Christmas movies of all time.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
