The 10 Reasons Why I Love Fall

I am made of sugar, pumpkin spice, and everything nice! Seriously though, fall is my favorite time of the year! No season compares to fall and no season will top fall. Here is a list of reasons why I believe fall is a ball:

1) Pumpkins

Pumpkin Spice is my favorite flavor! I love pumpkin doughnuts, pumpkin cake, pumpkin pie, pumpkin and cream cheese rolls, etc. Not only that, but I love carving pumpkins. My Dad and I have carved pumpkins together for eighteen years now, and we do not plan on stopping anytime soon!

2) Weather

Fall is the only time of year that I am not complaining about the weather. It's not too hot and it's not too cold. I am so tired of walking around campus in 90 degree heat! So naturally I am MORE than ready for the fall time breeze.

3) Outfits

Ah, it's the time of year that I actually put in effort to look somewhat attractive. From cute sweaters. to boots, to scarves, to cute jeans, to cute skirts, and to cute dresses I really try to look acceptable. My pointers board that is titled "Cute Outfit Ideas," is basically just full of outfits that I can wear during this season and the other wonderful season that comes after it-Winter.

4) Food.

For some reason, my family decides that cooking intensely high calorie foods that are DELISCIOUS during this season. It's wonderful, I love my family and I love their cooking skills.

5) Bonfires

There is nothing better than listening to music, sitting with friends and family, and staring at a glowing orange bonfire. I love the s'mores and I love the stories that bonfires bring out. Bonfires have become a tradition in my family, and I could not be more thankful for that tradition. (S/O to my Dad for always being the coolest bonfire burner/coordinator/hazard control guy I know! Also a S/O to my Mom for helping me come up with cool games to play!)

6) Holidays

Fall is the time that it becomes "socially acceptable" to sing holiday songs. (Even though I sing Christmas Songs year round and quote "The Elf" 24/7.) I love Halloween mostly because I like parties and I enjoy making a costume! Although, right after Halloween I immediately go back to my Christmas Spirit.

7) Black Friday

I am a female who loves shopping. Do I really need to say more?

8) People Are Kinder

My theory is that people know they need to be kind to be on "The Nice List' for good ole Saint Nick. People always want something and they always have an agenda, so this just makes complete sense to me. Why else would people actually smile at you when you look at them in a department store?(except for Black Friday though, we have to get that last $5 baby doll on the rack at Wal-Mart, so don't play.)

9) Movie Marathons

It's the time when "Charlie Brown" rolls out, "Friends," rolls out the episodes about Thanksgiving, "Hocus Pocus," plays over and over and over, oh and Christmas movies start coming out slowly. What could be better?

10) Leaves.

Leaves are changing color and it's one of the most beautiful things to witness here in the great state of Tennessee. I love it.

I love the Fall and what it brings out in human beings. So cheers to you Fall 2016. may you be the best fall season yet!

Bob's Burgers
Adult Swim

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.
