1. Oreos and Peanut Butter

If you have not tried this combination yet, you must. This is a trick that I learned from "The Parent Trap." Thank you Lindsay Lohan for introducing the perfect sweet and salty combination.

    2. Snack sized chips and pretzels

SNACK SIZE. This is one key word you need when packing for college. First, if you open a big bag of smart food popcorn you will never know when to stop eating (or you don’t want to stop) and you will finish the whole bag. Also, bugs are gross and if you have one bag of food laying around, you may be inviting little critters into your dorm room.

    3. Bananas

This is a fruit so it's healthy (yay) and it has a natural cover. This is a quick and easy snack that you can grab on the go.

Bonus: The potassium in bananas is great for curing hangovers

    4. Microwavable Popcorn

How can you survive college without this? This is my go to Netflix snack. Plus, it is not that unhealthy for you.

    5. Freeze-dried apples

This fruit does not go bad and it has the crunch of chips. This is a healthy alternative to the bag of potato chips when you start your new diet.

    6. Cup of Noodles and Mac and Cheese

Everyone needs comfort food. When you are stressed for your test and you just need to have a quick meal so you can go back to the library and study, microwavable comfort food is the way to go.

    7. Little Bites

This is a great library snack. Bring this to the library for a quick and sweet boost of energy while you cram for your next test.

Bonus: This is a quiet snack, so other people in the library won't give you a death stare for making noise while you are trying to studying for your math test.

    8. Granola Bars

The best grab and go breakfast option. Wake up 20 minutes before class and skip the dining hall, but satisfy your cravings with a chocolatey peanut butter bar.

    9. Carrots and Hummus

A healthy snack that will fill you. It’s 2 p.m. and you just finished your last class, but you are starving. Fill yourself up with some healthy hummus and carrots.

    10. String cheese

If you are scared to eat the dining hall’s milk like I am, then this is a good way to get the calcium you need.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
