It’s officially December and we all know what that means—time to binge watch the best Christmas movies. Take a break from work or studying to enjoy the heartfelt joy of the holidays. Whether it be a collection of your favorite DVD’s, a Netflix splurge or Freeforms’s 25 Days of Christmas, your movie marathon is bound to be epic with these ten classics.

1. Elf

Perhaps the most quoted Christmas movie, Elf is the hilarious story of Santa’s special elf, Buddy, who winds up in New York City in search of his real dad. Along the way, Buddy has to face reality away from the North Pole and spread some Christmas cheer to the people who lost their holiday spirit. Elf is sure to leave you laughing and smiling throughout the entire season.

2. The Santa Clause

What happens when you accidentally kill Santa Claus? You become him! Divorced dad Scott has to take up the reigns (pun intended) and head to the North Pole in order to save Christmas, not only for his son Charlie, but for every boy and girl. However, the story doesn’t stop there because there are two fantastic sequels to The Santa Clause that will definitely make you want to visit the North Pole too.

3. Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer

Nothing says Christmas like the slightly creepy Claymation films from the sixties. Rudolph is the classic we’ve all heard of and adored since growing up. The songs are catchy and the story is sure to warm your heart as the underdog saves Christmas.

4. How The Grinch Stole Christmas

It’s Christmas in Who-Ville and holiday cheer is through the roof. However, not everyone feels such Christmas spirit and the jealous Grinch sets out to ruin their happiness. In Dr. Seuss’s fun story adaptation, you will adore the Grinch’s funny journey and uplifting change of heart.

5. A Christmas Story

Everyone loves a classic eighties movie to celebrate the Christmas season. A Christmas Story surely does not disappoint as it tells the story of nine-year-old Ralphie who wants nothing more than a Red Rider bb gun for Christmas. In a hilarious journey, Ralphie works extremely hard to convince everyone, including Santa, of which present he deserves underneath the Christmas tree.

6. The Polar Express

Cuddle up with warm blanket and hot chocolate to relive the magic of your elementary school Polar Express party. Every kid wanted so badly to be chosen to go to the North Pole to not only meet Santa, but see his magic first hand. After watching this movie, you need to hear that sleigh bell because you believe!

7. National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation

In this cheerful comedy, the Griswolds attempt to celebrate the holidays with extended family, but things don’t quite go as planned. Things keep getting worse for Clark Griswold, but he perseveres to keep the Christmas spirit alive for his family. The more disaster strikes, the more laughs this movie will bring you until you reach the heartfelt ending.

8. The Mistle-Tones

Funny Christmas story plus outstanding music combine in The Mistle-Tones to bring the holiday spirit to life. Holly always dreamed of becoming a Snow Belle, the renowned Christmas caroling group, but when she doesn’t make the cut, she decides to form a group of her own. A rag-tag group of talent and Christmas cheer, the Mistle-Tones will sing their way into your heart.

9. Home Alone

There may be a handful of sequels, but Home Alone is the original blockbuster you can’t help but love. When Kevin’s family accidentally leaves him at home during Christmas vacation, he finds it his duty to protect his house against burglars. In this hilarious comedy, Kevin manages to save his house and enjoy a wonderful Christmas.

10. A Charlie Brown Christmas

Who doesn’t love the heartwarming joy that is Charlie Brown and his friends? Here is the movie to watch by the fire with your family, a lighthearted and wonderful way to celebrate. You may even feel inspired to get your own Charlie Brown Christmas tree because big trees are overrated.

Go ahead and start a warm fire, grab a snack and some friends for the best Christmas movie marathon yet!

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
