It's probably best you have a box of tissues nearby.

7 things you'll cry over During That time of the month

We all dread that time of the month when it comes around. You're cramping, you're grumpy, and there are too many mood swings to count. The most exhausting part of it all, is all the random times you find yourself crying over trivial things. You're not actually sad, but you can't explain why you're crying. While you might not know every reason, I'm sure these ones have made an appearance.

1. Finding out someone ate the rest of the chocolate in the house

Giphy

Nothing will set your tears off like craving some chocolate only to get home and realize someone in the house ate it. You know it's not a big deal and you could easily go to the store to get more, but you can't keep yourself from crying.

2. That sappy movie/TV scene when the couple finally gets together

Giphy

Pretty much in every rom com to exist, there is ALWAYS that scene where the two main characters share their first kiss, finally admit their feelings for one another, or make a big gesture to win the other person back. As if we didn't cry during these scenes enough, your tears will be more exaggerated and you will probably be crying for a longer length of time.

3. The movie/TV scene when the couple breaks up

Giphy

The only thing that will make you cry worse than a fictional couple getting together is a fictional couple breaking up. You're going to cry with them, and you'll probably feel worse than they do.

4. Babies

Giphy

Not only are babies cute every day of the year, but they are especially cute when you're hormones are wonky. Even if it's a cute baby video or you see a cute baby when you're out and about, you're going to feel your eyes tearing up because they're just so darn cute.

5. Every episode of "Say Yes to the Dress"

Giphy

I mean come on, how can you not cry when you see other people crying too? Not only are you watching women try on gorgeous dresses, you somehow become emotionally invested in their decision and want them to pick the best for them, regardless of what their bridal party wants.

6. The fact you can't button up your favorite jeans for a week

Giphy

There is nothing worse than picking out a cute outfit only to realize it's not going to work out this week. You feel bloated, everything just feels a tad tighter, and if you're anything like me, you'll get frustrated and cry. It's ok; it happens.

7. When someone does anything remotely nice

Giphy

Chances are you will cry over people just being good people. You will feel like your faith in humanity has been restored and you're crying because you're just so thankful.

If you didn't tear up a little while reading this article, that's ok too. I'm definitely a cry-er. But I know there are many of us prep for that dreaded week with a box of tissues and snacks as far as they eye can see.

It's officially December. There is less than a month of 2024, and I still feel like yesterday was summer. Now comes the merriest time of the year, the Christmas season.

Everyone has been waiting for this time of year since mid-October (which is way too early, in my opinion) or before. It's a time of love, family, memory-making, and gift-giving. A lot of times when I ask friends and family what they want, I get a lot of "I don't know" or "I don't care."

I was sitting at my cubicle, now that I am an adult, looking at the rain pouring down on the windowsill, bumming on life, wishing for the rain to just stop for a full day.

There are moments where we count down the hours until work is over and how many more days till the weekend, and this many weeks until something exciting. Or something like that? Well, I was bumming because my next day off from work is not until Memorial Day weekend, which is not until the end of May. And since this is my first year out of college being a “real person,” I am totally missing the winter, spring and summer breaks. I am sure all of us have felt this way even if just for a hot minute…

If you go to or went to Kent State, then more than likely you have done or will do some of these things.

1. You’ve slipped and fallen on the ice at least once.
