My favorite song is This City by Sam Fischer, I love this song for a multitude of reasons. The main reason being the lyrics.

The song starts out with the line " I'm seeing lonely people in crowded rooms ", which is a contradicting yet slightly comforting statement.

Overall I perceive the song as the writer comparing "this city" to someone who hurt them.

Sometimes songs have a way of putting your feelings into words when you can't do it yourself. A lot of times people like music for the beat, the hype, or the lyrics. I love this song for the lyrics especially.

Another line is " been a couple months since I felt like I'm home ", I think the writer is comparing home to a person, because sometimes people can feel most like home.

I found this song off of my suggested on Spotify, I always skipped over it. Until I ran out of skips one night and really needed music, because I'm not snazzy enough for premium ;), and the song played through fully, and next thing I know I can't stop listening to it.

There are always songs that you like, and then there's THAT song.
