Now that Thanksgiving has passed, it is time to get back to work and finish up this semester. But first, let’s take a stroll down memory lane and recall what the holiday held. Here is your Thanksgiving told through GIFs.

Skipping breakfast to prepare for the feast that awaits, but not being happy about it.

Thinking about those mashed potatoes.

Saying hello to family members that you may not want to see.

When your uncle starts talking about politics.

When your dad chimes in and agrees with him.


Waiting for the turkey to be done.

When the food is ready.

When you finish eating and can’t even think about dessert.

But then dessert comes.

Then, you fall asleep on the way home and dream of the leftovers you will consume tomorrow.

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. Hauppauge is home to people of all kinds. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here. Around the town, there are some just some landmarks and places that only the people of Hauppauge will ever understand the importance or even the annoyance of.
