We've just woken up, and know it’s going to be a long family oriented day. What can fix this?

You're still half asleep, in your pajamas, when your parents tell you to go get a pie from the grocery store.

Time to get dressed. Why is this so difficult? I have nothing to wear to just sit around our immediate family! We probably won’t even leave our own house, BUT IT’S STILL SO HARD!

The turkey is in the oven. But I wish Thanksgiving was the day of tacos. Who decided turkey should be served, and not tacos?!

Oh, family has arrived. Let’s see what they’ll bring up to embarrass me this year.

Wow, we’re doing good so far, no family fights, no personal questions being asked.

You start arguing with your siblings at the table, and your grandma keeps giving you the evil eye.

Your family starts asking about your love life, and you know that no matter what they say, they probably won’t be pleased. No one will ever be good enough for you in their eyes.

FINALLY. Dinner is over, we can now migrate from the dining room table to the living room where we will argue over what to watch. However, we all know that the men will win and their precious football game will be played for all of us to watch. Men and football, it’s like football is all they know.

Everyone is about to leave- quick! One last time to butter the family up before Christmas, ensuring you get some good gifts this year

As hectic as the holidays are, we all know you're going to be waiting very impatiently for your next family dinner on Christmas Eve.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
