Thanksgiving Questions You Will Probably Have to Answer

Thanksgiving Break; the time college students get to go home and sleep, eat home cooked meals and relax.. sort of. Every student has to endure what I like to call "20 question" game. Since students don't go home often when they actually go and see family they have to catch up on the good, bad and the ugly. So here are some questions that you'll probably run across..

1. How are your grades?

2. Are you seeing anyone?

3. Have you declared a major?

4. How do you feel about the election?

5. What classes are you taking next semester?

6. Do you have a job yet?

7. What do you like to do outside of class?

8. What are your plans for after school?

9. Are you looking for internships?

10. Are you going to live in the same dorm?

11. How are you and your roommate(s)?

12. Are you taking care of yourself?

13. Are you happy to be home?

14. Do you like your professors?

These are some of the most popular questions that are asked by our beloved family members that we love so much. But just know that every single one of us will answer at least 5 of these within the first ten minutes of being home. Be prepared now. You're welcome.

Now, in college, already fluent in English and Portuguese, I'm in the process of becoming fluent in Spanish, and I have a standard high school level understanding of French.

I am without a doubt one of those people who refuses to start decorating for Christmas or listen to Christmas music until after Thanksgiving.
