Let us say a prayer in thanksgiving to the Lord...

Let us all gather here at the table

To say this prayer, prayer for us all

Thanking God for our many blessings

This endless bounty of graces and gifts

We smile, we magnify God’s name

To glorify this holy day.

The year is almost over

Please be with us throughout dear Father

And bless this food we are about to receive

Always know that we are grateful indeed

May you anoint this family continuously

Show us still your love and mercy

We cite this poem together in harmony

Casting away all differences and negativities

For today we are uniting as one

To show You God that we are your champions

We forget any wrongs against one another

We forgive sins we did to each other

Today should all be about thanksgiving and peace

Please Father, let love reign and hate flee

For we laugh, we rejoice, we play, we sing

Altogether as one, big, joyous family.

All in the name of Your Almighty Son

Thank you very much for your presents.

Amen.

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
