There is nothing amazing about sitting in a living room with football playing on the TV and the smell of dry turkey. I still do not see the hype over Thanksgiving, it is just another Hallmark holiday. I celebrate it, yes, but it not something I hype up like Halloween and Christmas. It is just another family reunion for me and there should not be one day dedicated to giving thanks - that should be everyday.
1. The turkey is dry and not even that good
Ham > Turkey. End of story.
2. The Native Americans and colonizers did not eat together
So are we just going to forget about all the Native Americans that were murdered, and teach false history to the children?
3. All you do is fight with family
Somehow politics always gets involved in the conversation.
4. There is no Thanksgiving music
And if there is Thanksgiving music, then it is most likely boring and has nothing against Christmas music.
5. Pumpkin pie is overrated
It is really not that good, I get nauseous after 2 bites.
6. You should give thanks everyday
Why is it dedicated to one day only?
