Dear Guy Best Friend,

I personally wanted to take this time to say thank you. There have been so many times, day and night, that I should have said this more or should have said it louder, because you honestly deserve this thank you and eight kajillion more.

Thank you for always being there when I needed you the most.

I could have seen you five minutes ago or maybe it has been five years, but this never stopped you. Thank you for never letting time get in the way between us two. It never mattered where I was or what you were doing, but you always made time to at least make sure that I was okay. You have always been there for me with 100-mile car rides and suffering through 100-degree heat together, and I honestly wouldn’t have it any other way.

Thank you for always making me smile.

Whether I was having a bad day or it was just a look you would give me, you never failed to put a huge grin on my face. You are always cracking a joke or acting like a complete goofball, but I love you for this more than anything. I know that if I am ever having a bad day that you are the person that I want to see and go to. (Even if you hit me with a towel or try to shoot me with a BB gun.)

Thank you for loving me no matter what.

There have been so many times where I have been mean or even pushed you away, but you always take me right back and always forgive me. I know I can be super needy and bratty sometimes, but it has never stopped you from being you and still trying to make everything better. You have always been there, and I am so thankful for this.

Thank you for showing me that there are amazing men still in this world.

You always tell me that there is “the one” out there for me, and this is something that I truly believe. As we face our issues differently when it comes to this, I want to thank you for showing me that there are amazing people in this world that are going to go above and beyond to make me happy.

Thank you for loving me for me.

You have never wanted me to change a single bit or want me to be different than the person that I am today. You always make me feel special and loved for the person that I am. Thank you for showing me that it is okay to be me and show me that the person that I am is the best me that I can be. We have both had our fair share of mistakes in the past, and I am glad for them, but thank you for not judging me on mine and accepting that they are for the better.

Guy best friend, you truly are one of the best people that I have ever met in this world. You love and care so much for everyone around you and I don’t know what I would do without you in my life. You are stuck with me now so don’t think that you are going anywhere anytime soon.

I love you so much. Thank you for everything.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
