Thankful means so much more.

When being Thankful means so much more.

21

Have you ever heard the word Thankful used in a sentence? Maybe someone has used it to describe a you or someone you may know. The word Thankful to me means so much more.

Sometimes I think we forget to be Thankful. The word Thankful to many people doesn’t mean the same thing as it does to others, sometimes. You could use the word Thankful by saying “I’m so thankful for you” when talking to someone.

I have a list I could tell you of what I’m Thankful for but I won’t tell you everything. I’ll tell you the main things because they mean so much more. The things and the people that are thankful to me and I won’t take for Granted because of God I have theses things, these people.

Thanksgiving is all about being Thankful. But if we forget to be thankful during the rest of our lives and not just thanksgiving and we are really missing the big picture of the word “Thankful” and the whole idea of being Thankful. I’m lucky enough God brought two sweet boys named Will, AJ into my life who bring me joy all the time. I’m lucky enough to have a great school, support system, family, friends.

My challenge to you this Thursday is to yes remember all the reasons to be thankful but be thankful to the one above who has given you all this. Be thankful you’re around a table of loved ones. Be thankful for the food on your table, the hands who’ve prepared it. Be Thankful.

But don’t let the day go to waste without telling someone you are Thankful for them. ❤️

What happened in the beginning, and how the heavens were set in motion.

The Norse Creation Myth

Now, I have the everlasting joy of explaining the Norse creation myth. To be honest, it can be a bit kooky, so talking about it is always fun. The entire cosmos is included in this creation myth, not just the earth but the sun and the moon as well. This will be a short retelling, a summary of the creation myth, somewhat like I did with Hermod's ride to Hel.

If you're like me and LOVE some good throwback music, here's a list of songs from every genre that have gotten lost in time, but never truly forgotten.
