I Am Thankful For My Sibling

My Brother Is My Best Friend

As I grow up I realize how lucky I am to have my sibling. When you grow up with your brother or sister so close in age you two go through everything together. That means that you may fight sometimes (or most of the time lol), but as I grow up I think about how thankful I am to have my sibling. As we both mature we realize that the fighting is stupid . Siblings can get on your nerves sometimes but thats what they are for! We should always have each others back. Siblings are your best friends for life. Someone you can rely on, someone who you know will always fight for you, wants whats best for you and will do anything to help you. My brother is my best friend. With the holidays coming up it makes me think about who I am thankful for. I don't think siblings get the credit that they deserve. I am so thankful for my brother. He is the one person that has shared all of my childhood memories with. He will forever be my best friend and I just want to thank him. Those moments where you can hang out and enjoy each others companies are the best. Every since I went to college my brother and I became closer. Maybe because we aren't sharing the same bathroom lol or because we realized how much we missed each other when I left. Those silly moments of driving him to school, or going to get ice cream are the things that you will cherish when we get older. Every person needs some sibling time. I am so proud of the man that my brother is becoming and I am so thankful that I get to grow up and have such an amazing brother that I know I will always be close with. So, if you have a sibling don't forget to thank them and tell them you are thankful for them because it will mean more to them then you think.

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
