Thanksgiving: the one time of year where you eat a lot of food in the good company of your family, friends and other such loved ones. It's also the time of year when you're given the chance to be thankful for the things in your life. As a result, I'll post about the things I'm thankful for in my life:
The Chance To Go to School at WPI
WPI was my dream school this time last year, when I was done applying to schools and was just playing the waiting game. WPI was more or less a reach school for me, so it was a miracle to have been accepted and to have been able to attend. Ever since, I have been thankful to be able to go here and experience the opportunities that I have been able to experience.
My Roommates
My roommates are overall wonderful people and I'm very happy we ended up living together. And that I have roommates who are okay with having a poster of Tom Haverford on our door. And that they put up with my shenanigans.
Pep Band
One of the first organizations I started participating in at WPI, I have found a family away from home. Shout out to the clarinet section, especially for the wonderful uses of memes. Also for making it bearable to get up for 8 am drill practice.
My Friends
Friends from wherever the heck I met you, I am grateful for you. You've probably made my life entertaining and still do. And also thanks for putting up with me asking you guys for random topics to write about when I have writer's block.
Tea
For making nightly physics bearable.
Coffee
For making my imminent 8 ams more bearable. Also for waking me up for physics and multivariable calculus.
Sleep
Need I say more?
Science
Science is an amazing field, and I'm happy to be going into it. Without science, there would be no modern technology, no modern medicine, and no refrigerators.
The Odyssey
I'm glad to be a member of "The Odyssey" at WPI! We're still in the process of becoming an official club and I can't wait to see how it will grow.
My Family
This one's kind of a given. I love my family dearly, and they have been incredibly supportive my entire life. There's more I could say about this one, but they probably already know. Happy Thanksgiving! See you soon!
