Be Thankful EVERY SINGLE DAY.

We often forget how truly blessed we are. Everything in life, good or bad, we should be thankful for.

Oftentimes, we get so caught up in our lives that we never really pay attention to how truly blessed we are. It's only when bad things happen(or that one day devoted to being thankful) that we reflect on everything we're thankful for. With Thanksgiving come and gone, I have decided to compose a list of the most simple, yet meaningful things we should all be thankful for.

1. Parents: they will always be there for you no matter what and they go above and beyond for YOU.

2. Home: whether you live in the country or a mansion, home will always be where the heart is.

3. Pain: it reminds us we're human and we are in fact alive.

4. Love: it's hard to find but it's good to have.

5. Sunsets: they remind us that endings can be beautiful.

6. Education: we may think it's going to kill us, but some people have no access.

7. Weekends: our mini break from the daily grind.

8. Health: it is important to stay healthy, some people are fighting for theirs.

9. Mistakes: they teach you how to live the correct way.

10. Tears: they take place of words when we have none.

11. Oceans: the waves are a constant reminder to keep moving forward.

Granted, there are more things to be thankful for. These are the most simple, yet meaningful. Take a moment each day to truly be thankful; not when tragedy strikes. We are blessed no matter what, so let's start acting like it! Everything, both good and bad, have gotten us to where we are now.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
